El passat 10 de juliol de 2024, Isaac Pons va obtenir el grau de Doctor en Medicina per la Universitat de Barcelona amb la màxima qualificació “Excel.lent Cum Laude”, després de defensar la tesi doctoral titulada “Afectació cardíaca a la síndrome antifosfolipídica”, realitzada sota la direcció dels Drs. Ricard Cervera i Gerard Espinosa, del Servei de Malalties Autoimmunes de l'Hosptial Clínic de Barcelona.
El Dr. Isaac Pons és especialista en Medicina Interna i va realitzar el Màster en Malalties Autoimmunes de la Universitat de Barcelona el curs 2012-2013 i actualment és Cap Clínic del Servei de Medicina Inrterna de l'Hospital Althaia de Manresa i Professor Associat de la Univeristat de Vic.
