El passat 12 de juliol de 2024, Olga Araújo va obtenir el grau de Doctor en Medicina per la Universitat de Barcelona amb la màxima qualificació “Excel.lent Cum Laude”, després de defensar la tesi doctoral titulada “Efectos secundarios de los antimaláricos en el lupus eritematoso sistémico”, realitzada sota la direcció dels Drs. Ricard Cervera i Laura Pelegrín, del Grup de Recerca en Malalties Autoimmunes Sistèmiques de l'Institut d'Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) de Barcelona.
La Dra. Olga Araújo és Especialista en Medicina Interna, Màster en Malalties Autoimmunes per la Universitat de Barcelona (curs 2019-2019) i membre del Servei de Malalties Autoimmunes de l'Hospital Clínic de Barcelona.
