L'estudiant italià Andrea Vendola va obtenir el Premi de la Càtedra UB-GSK de Malalties Autoimmunes al millor Treball Final del Màster en Malalties Autoimmunes (curs 2023-2024) de la Universitat de Barcelona amb l'estudi "The role of antiphospholipid antibodies in retinal microvasculature changes in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: an analysis of two international referral centres", amb la tutoria dels Drs. Olga Araújo i Ricard Cervera.
L'estudiant portuguesa Tânia Afonso va obtenir un accèssit al Premi amb el treball "Circulating haptoglobin as a biomarker for disease activity in giant cell arteritis", amb la tutoria del Dr. SJosé Hernández-Rodríguez.
Finalment, la també estudiant portuguesa Ana Reis va obtenir un altre accèssit amb el treball "Uveitis: A multidisciplinary approach", amb la tutoria dels Drs. Gerard Espinosa i Susana Pina.
L'entrega dels Premis es va realitzar en el decurs de l'AUTOIMMUNITY DAY-2024, que es va realizar el passat 4 de novembre de 2024 .
