Maria Cinta Cid has been awarded the Jan van Breemen medal by the Dutch Society for Rheumatology
On September 26th, the Autumn Days of the Dutch Society for Rheumatology took place. During this event, Maria Cinta Cid, leader of the Systemic Vasculitis group
at IDIBAPS, was recognized for her professional career and
contributions to the field of rheumatology. Additionally, she delivered a
lecture titled "Pathogenesis of Giant-Cell Arteritis: Therapeutic
Implications from a Translational Perspective."
The medal is named after the researcher Jan F.L. van Breemen, a pioneer in the fight against rheumatology in the Netherlands and the founder of the Dutch Society for Rheumatology.
