Maria Cinta Cid, Senior Consultant of the Department of Autoimmune Diseases at the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, head of the Systemic Vasculitis Research Group at the August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBAPS) and coordinator of the "Vasculitis and Myopathies" Module of the Master's in Autoimmune Diseases of the University of Barcelona, has been recognized as a Master of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) during the ACR Convergence-2022 that took place on November 10-14, 2022, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
Recognition as a Master of the ACR is one of the highest honors the College bestows. The designation of Master is conferred on ACR members, age 65 or older by October 1 of the year in which they are nominated, who have made outstanding contributions to the ACR and the field of rheumatology through scholarly achievement and/or service to their patients, students, and profession.
