Ewa Haladyj, MD, from Warsaw, Poland, and former student of the Masters’ on Autoimmune Diseases of the University of Barcelona (course 2015-16), has obtained the 2016
APS ACTION Young Scholar Award that promotes the Antiphospholipid Syndrome Alliance for Clinical Trials and International Networking (APS ACTION). The
award was announced during the 15th International Congress on AntiphospholipidAntibodies that took place on September 21-24, 2016, in North Cyprus. She joins
Guillermo Pons-Estel, MD, PhD,
another former fellow of the Department of Autoimmune Diseases of the Hospital
Clínic of Barcelona who obtained the 2010 APS ACTION Young Scholar Award.
The APS ACTION is an international consortium whose primary mission is to prevent, treat, and cure antiphospholipid
antibody-associated clinical manifestations through high-quality, multicenter,
and multidisciplinary clinical research. Members of its Steering Committee
include Ricard Cervera, Guillermo Pons-Estel and Ignasi Rodríguez-Pintó.
