The
Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona and the Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine of
Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan, have joined in an agreement on the
basis of equality and reciprocity to promote international academic exchanges
through mutual cooperation on education and scientific research. This agreement
includes exchange of faculty members, research staff, postgraduate students and
academic materials, publications, and information, joint research projects, conferences,
seminars and symposia. Specifically, this agreement will facilitate the participation
of Japanese students in the Masters’ of Autoimmune Diseases and in the other
specialties of the Masters’ on Advanced Medical Skills of the University of
Barcelona.
The
agreement was organized during a visit to Sapporo, Japan, by Prof. Ricard Cervera, Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Medicine of
the University of Barcelona and Coordinator of both Masters, and Prof. Tatsuya Atsumi, Vice-Dean of the Graduate
School of Medicine and School of Medicine of Hokkaido University, and signed by
Prof. Francesc Cardellach, Dean of
the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, and Prof. Masanori Kasahara, Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine and School of Medicine of Hokkaido
University.
